The princesses all slept in the same huge room, with their twelve pretty beds in a row. The king loved his daughters, but he was becoming concerned about what they did each night. Even though the king carefully locked the door of the princesses' room every night, the next morning he found the princesses tired and out of sorts. More puzzling still, their tiny silk dancing slippers were worn to shreds. Every day, the king had to order twelve new pairs of silk shoes for his daughters. The next morning, when the king begged his daughters to explain why they were so tired and pale, and why their dancing shoes were in shreds, the princesses merely murmured, "Beloved Papa, we have been sleeping peacefully in our beds all night." The king thought of a way to find out the truth. He issued a proclamation declaring that the first man to solve the mystery of where the twelve princesses went to dance every night would choose a wife from among them. However, anyone who tried to discover the princesses' secret had only three days and three nights to succeed. It was not long before a prince arrived at the palace to try his luck. The king made the young prince feel welcome. The prince was led to a small chamber next to the princesses' bedroom. The door between the two rooms was left open. The princesses could not leave without being seen by the prince. When the princesses filed into their room, the prince gladly accepted a cup of wine offered to him by the eldest princess. In no time, he was sound asleep in his bed. When the prince awoke the next morning, the princesses were asleep in their beds. The prince was dismayed to see twelve pairs of worn out shoes! The next two nights, the same thing happened. The king was angry and banished the prince from the kingdom. Many other princes met the same fate. The king began to despair of ever finding out where his daughters danced at night. Then one day a poor soldier came limping along the road. He had been wounded and could no longer serve in battle. He had no sooner sat down by the side of the road to eat some bread and cheese when an old woman appeared all dressed in rags. "Won't you have a bite to eat with me?" said the kind soldier to the woman. He offered her half of his simple meal. "Where are you going?" asked the woman. "I am going to the city to find work," replied the soldier. "Perhaps I can find out how the princesses wear out their shoes!" The old woman surprised the soldier by saying, "Heed my words! Do not drink the wine that the princesses offer you. Pretend to fall asleep. And take this cloak, which will make you invisible. You can follow the princesses and discover their secret!" The soldier didn't know what to think. He thanked the old woman and continued on his way. The soldier put on the cloak and discovered that it did indeed make him invisible. He headed at once to the king's palace, where he was made welcome. The twelve princesses chattered and laughed as they dressed in their best ball gowns and jewels and arranged each other's hair. Only the youngest princess felt uneasy. "Something just doesn't feel right tonight," she said..

BOSTON Boston Red Sox starter Felix Doubront could not get out of the fourth inning, but the Red Sox still beat the White Sox 7 6 on Sunday to complete the sweep of the three game set at Fenway Park. Doubrant was not the only pitcher who struggled, as neither starter could get past the fourth inning. "I felt good for the first three innings," Doubront said. "I had to work in the fourth inning, and I tried to get that out but I got tired, just missing my spot. "Probably I lost confidence with my breaking ball: 1 2 counts, the curveball, fastball right in the middle. It was a lot of things. I don't remember it all. I don't want to remember it." White Sox right hander Andre Rienzo went three innings, giving up five runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts and a home run. "Everybody could see how trashy my game was today," Rienzo said. "I (did) really bad and I don't give the team a chance to win. It was completely my fault. "I put pressure on myself. I (put) myself in bad position. The Red Sox enjoyed that because I put myself in a bad position." White Sox manager Robin Ventura knew the walks would lead to problems. "You put guys on against these guys you're just asking for trouble," said Ventura. "They can hit. They can work at bats. But when you're putting them on base it becomes a long haul. They make you pay for it." Rienzo took the loss, falling to 1 1 with a 5.03 ERA. Red Sox right hander Brandon Workman relieved Doubront and earned the win, improving to 4 2 with a 4.50 ERA. Workman went 1 1/3 innings, giving up a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout. Boston took an early lead when they sent nine batters to the plate in the four run second inning. The Red Sox added another run in the third on Stephen Drew's solo home run, his 11th of the season. The White Sox came back with four runs when they sent 10 batters to the plate in the fourth. Left hander Charlie Leesman, who was called up from Triple A Charlotte before the game, relieved Rienzo. He went 4 1/3 innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks. The White Sox added a run in the fifth when Alexei Ramirez led off with a single, stole second and scored on Paul Konerko's single. Chicago scored another run in the eighth on Tyler Flowers' solo home run off Craig Breslow. Koji Uehara pitched a scoreless ninth for his 16th save. "We've seen the consistency from start to finish. He has saved our tail end all year long," Red Sox manager John Farrell said of Uehara. "It's very calming from our perspective. We hope that run continues. Not only has he been efficient, he's in complete control whether it's an inning and inning and a third. It's a calming inning." On Saturday night, right hander Jake Peavy started against his former team for the first time since the White Sox sent him to Boston in a three team deal at the trading deadline and came away with a victory as the Red Sox beat the White Sox 7 2. Peavy went seven innings, giving up two runs, five hits and a walk with four strikeouts. He improved his record to 11 5 and lowered his ERA to 3.91. Since being acquired by the Red Sox, Peavy is 3 1. White Sox left haner John Danks (4 11) took the loss. He pitched five innings, giving up six runs (five earned), 11 hits and one walk with two strikeouts. The Red Sox scored three runs against Danks in the fourth inning, sending seven batters to the plate, to take a 5 2 lead. The Sox opened the inning with three straight hits a bunt single by David Ross, a single by Xander Bogaerts and a ground rule double by Jacoby Ellsbury that scored Ross. Bogaerts scored on Dustin Pedroia's groundout and Ellsbury came home on David Ortiz's single. Boston added a run in the sixth when Bogaerts' two out single scored Jonny Gomes, who opened the inning with a single, to give the Red Sox a 6 2 lead. NOTES: The Red Sox designated RHP Daniel Bard for assignment on Sunday. Bard, who was a first round (28th overall) pick by Boston in 2006, was once one of baseball's best set up men, but has struggled since trying to transition from the bullpen to the starting rotation. The Sox called up C Ryan Lavarnway, OF Quintin Berry, RHP Rubby De La Rosa from Triple A Pawtucket on Sunday. IF Brandon Snyder was activated from the DL. Boston will likely call up more players after Pawtucket's play off run ends. 1B Mike Napoli got a day off Sunday, with Rienzo starting for Chicago. Mike Carp got the start. INF John McDonald, acquired in a trade with the Phillies on Saturday, arrived at Fenway Park during Sunday's game against the White Sox. RF Shane Victorino left the game after the sixth inning with a left hip contusion and is day to day. Ventura was ejected in the bottom of the fourth for arguing. It was Ventura's seventh career ejection as a manager, third this seasonJacoby Ellsbury left the game in the ninth with swelling in his left hand after getting jammed a few times at the plate. Men Nike Free Run 2 Sail White Red Grey Quilted,You only need to measure one of them. Place them together with their outer faces facing outward and start sewing. I found it at my local craft store in a big bag. This is time consuming and uses quite a lot of thread, be prepared. If you want, you can use a smaller bru. You should have already measured your original shoe's tongue, both it's length and width, and its width at both it's widest and narrowest points. It's a pretty simple piece, so its hard to really mess up the shape of this one. However, it should be noted that you should add an inch or so to its length and width when you cut out the shapes, since you will be inverting this piece, you will lose a little space to the inside of the tongue. Go ahead and cut out your tongue (from the fabric, not from your mouth). Once again, you will need to cut out the shape from each piece of fabric, one for the outside and one for the inside. Place the pieces of fabric with their outer faces facing each other (inside out), and begin sewing around the edges starting at one of the corners on the narrowest edge. Sew all the sides except for the smallest side, so you should finish sewing on the corner directly on the other side of the smallest edge (See picture 3).
